First Month Teeth Braces

Middle of October, I went to Klinik Pergigian Emmanuel at Klang and got four teeth extracted. This cost me RM390 and a deposit of RM500. For few weeks, I couldn't eat hard food, only managed to eat porridge and drink healthy oat's drink. Here comes the month of November and I'm really excited to get my teeth braces. This is the first appointment with Dr. Lew Chee Kong the specialist in orthodontic treatment and you can find him at TTDI too. So, on the first visit I need to pay another RM1500. 

Meet Dr. Lew and I was ready to get my separator. My appointment was at 4:30pm but still need to wait half an hour because too many patient have contract with Dr. Lew for teeth braces too. After half and hour, here goes my turn to meet Dr. Lew. He was serious compared to the first time I met him, probably he was too busy to talk and joke. Dr. Lew's skill was fast enough that not more than half an hour, I'm done with my teeth braces. It is to know that Dr. Lew do not use separator and band/ ring for teeth braces because is more pain and easily spoiled your teeth with foods stuck in the band/ ring.

The very next day, one of the brackets was loose on the upper right. I went back to the clinic to get it fixed by general doctor and not Dr. Lew unless, you lost your bracket. Then in the same week, one brackets was loose but this time is on the lower left. Rush to the clinic to get it fixed. the next week, the same lower left bracket was loose again and went to clinic to fixed it again. Gosh! How many times I need to return to the clinic? @_@

After another one week, the same lower left bracket gave me problem again! But this time, I ate curry puff and kuey teow and the most horrible thing is.....I.........swallowed the bracket while I was eating! YES! I SWALLOWED IT! Haha.. Quickly I went back to the clinic and told the nurse what had happened and she told me in 2days, make sure you do your business and see in your poo poo the barcket comes out together or else you need to go for an x-ray. An x-ray?! OMG! 

So, I went back and bought some bananas to eat. First day, I did my business and I don't see any shinning thing on the toilet bowl. At the same night, I did my business again and after I flushed, I didn't really check on it. When it was bedtime, I went to the toilet and saw something shinning on the surface of the toilet bowl. YES! It was the bracket that I've swallowed. Thanks GOD, it came out. 

After two days, I went for appointment with Dr. Lew and told him the whole story and he was laughing at me for my silliness for picking up the brackets and I did say I want to put the bracket back again. Hahahaha.. LOL...He then gave me a new wired braces and brackets without any charges. I've choose light purple this time for lower braces.

I was very happy because finally I can have teeth braces. I've always wanted to do this since Form Four. Why I wanted teeth braces so much? Because I've overbite's teeth aka rabbit's teeth. This teeth braces gonna stay with me for around two and a half years, that's way too long man!

My second appointment will be on Christmas's eve. :( Booking were all fully booked. The next appointment maybe I'll go for red color or pink color for CNY's theme. :)

My Happiest Moment

It will be my dream come true if I could win this Olympus PEN Lite E-PL3 as my first camera. I've always wanted to have my own camera to capture the best happening moment in my life and to share it out to the world! Today, I've given this opportunity by Nuffnang Malaysia and Olympus to share out my happiest moment with everyone of you. Camera really is an amazing thing in the world! I believe that, a picture speaks more than a thousand words.

My happiest moment wasn't about birthday celebration or wedding celebration. It was about me when I was just a little girl who get excited everytime my dad snap photo of me and my brother. In the year of 90's, camera was not like now so high technology. We need to bring the camera's films to the camera's shop to get our captured photo done. This was the most exciting part because we need to be patient for few hours or few days to have the photos. In those years, photos that have been captured can't be delete or edit.

And this is my happiest moment photo with my brother. I was smilling with a big smile because I was on top of the bed and I was taller than him, that makes me so proud and happy. As a child, I always wanted to be taller than my brother but growing up takes time.*Silly me* We used to talk a lot before our bed time. This photo was captured by my dad before our bed time. The double decker bed in this photo was our sweetest dream's place thru 16years.





We went to the same school as he is elder than me 3 years. My parents were always busy with their works. I and my brother stayed at home alone and he used to cook foods for me and make sure I'm safe to school. I hate to go to school when I was a kid. I used to cried every time I've to go to school and refused to go until the bus driver need to calm me down.

Now, we both have grown up and have our own life that makes this photos more valueable. All our childhood memories and stories can be shown in this photos. The best thing of all is, I still keeping this photos as my precious things in my life because time could not be turn back.

Klinik Pergigian Emmanuel Bad Service!!

Last 3 days I went to Pusat Pakar Pergigian Emmanuel,Klang regarding about teeth braces. I booked this appointment 1 months earlier with Dr.Lew. So, I met Dr.Lew the orthodontist and he say I need to go for X-ray first before they start the procedure. Then, I did X-ray with Dr.Teng, he was much more better than Dr.Lew who does not serious when attending a patient. Dr.Teng extracted my 4 teeth, which is 2 upper teeth and 2 lower teeth. The process was fast,it took around 20 minutes to extract 4 teeth. After the extraction done, I was told by Dr.Teng that if I doesn't want to extract my third molar tooth then I don't need to make the next appointment at the counter. So. I paid the amount of RM500 as deposit and RM390 for the X-ray, 4 teeth extraction and medicine. The indian lady aka receptionist (at the front desk) didn't give me any receipt. Fine! What about my X-ray picture? I cannot have it back??

So,today after 3 days, I've make up my mind that I do not want to extract my third molar teeth first. I'll have braces fix first and after 2 to 3 years only I'll extract the third molar teeth. Then, I call up the clinic and wanted to book an appointment with Dr.Lew. First, a malay lady answer and asked me to hold on while she check the schedule. Suddenly, a indian lady voice with rude and manners asked who I want to book the appointment with and I said Dr.Lew on 2nd of November,2011. She told me, the schedule on November is all full! again FULL for WHOLE NOVEMBER! FINE! Then she say, only left December 21st and 24th and sound at me,and she asked why I didn't make any appointment on the spot on the day I went to extract my teeth. Like HELLO!, that time I thought I wanna go for another extraction for my third molar tooth, so I decided not to book an appointment first till I've make-up my mind. And now is only 3 days passed and the indian lady told me is all fully booked. I told her, I already paid for deposit what and I already extracted 4 teeth. So, this indian lady is expecting ME with no teeth for 2 months! This is not funny! I thought every clinic will give a special priority to those teeth braces patient. It can't be there so many patient did teeth braces with the only Dr.Lew there for the whole November to December. Your clinic already have the record that I already did the teeth extraction, SO, YOU should know there will be a patient will be making the next appointment anytime with your clinic orthodontist doctor! And YOU the indian lady customer service is very bad! On that day I did my teeth extraction, I saw she was scolded by a customer too. So, any of you working at that clinic who see this, please tell your boss to FIRED HER!

I'm thinking to get my deposit back and changing to other orthodontist clinic that serve their customer BETTER! Ya, so now I've no 4 teeth and don't know have to wait till when till I get my braces on. Should I change to other clinic and get my deposit back?
