Second appoinment

This time, second appointment with Dr.Lew for teeth braces on 24 December 2011. Yes, one day before christmas I've new colour of braces. I choose red colour just because is Christmas and Chinese New Year is just around the corner. Need to wait until February for next appointment. Changed thicker line and is much more painful and no more rubber band pulling the lower right side teeth. :) Tahta's great, I can see some improvement on the lower right teeth. Here's a picture of me with red teeth braces. Is not clear and too far, can't even see the colour actually. Haha.

IOS 5 and IOS 5.0.1

Hi! :)

Do you have a smartphone? Iphone 3gs, 4 and 4s or Ipad, Ipad 2? To those who recently updated the IOS 5.0.1 or IOS 5, I'm pretty sure you'll be having this problem. Can't login to Facetime or Twitter on the settings side? 

I was having this problem which I can't login to Facetime and Twitter. Sometimes, it mention that I've the wrong ID or password but I'm very sure what I've key in is all correct. What the hell is going on with Apple?! I've been searching all over for an answer but none of it helps me until I've plan to go to the Apple's store to complain this matter. Lucky me! 

I've found the solution to this problem before I went to the Apple's store. It was very simple. All you got to do is go to Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically to ON. Tadaaa! Now, you can try login to your Facetime and Twitter. Is so simple and easy as ABC.

Marimo

Cladophora ball or Moss Balls or better known as Marimo  is a kind of water plant that found at Hokkaido, Japan. Legend believed that Marimo bring good luck and love to the close ones. It is said that taking good care of Marimo will make one's wishes comes true, so it's not just a plant, is a pet. :)


The plant was named as Marimo by a Japanese botanist named Tatsuhiko Kawakami in 1898. "Mari" means bouncy play ball and "Mo" means a generic term for plants that grow in water. In Japan, Marimo are a protected species. There are 3 types of Marimo. First is Nano Marimo which length about 8mm to 14mm. Second is Giant Marimo which length about 30mm to 40mm and lastly is Super Giant Marimo that lenght up from 50mm to 60mm. The growth rate of a Marimo is about 5mm per year. Hence, a giant Marimo is about 7 years old!


How to care for Marimo?


Domestic Marimo grow in tap water at a room temperature as long as the water is changed every one or two weeks (more frequently in summer and less often in winter). Marimo also can be place in the refrigerator but does not survive freezing. Photosynthesis occurs in normal household lighting, otherwise, indirect sunlight since the marimo is adapted for low light conditions only. If the Marimo green color turns brownish, it may recover without intervention, otherwise a very minimal amount of salt can be added as suggested remedy. To prevent Marimo from sickness, clean Marimo by rubbing Marimo surface in a rolling motion and press the Marimo's skin with your index finer and thumb. Marimo also can squeeze with your both palms to let the water completely out while Marimo is in the water.

First Month Teeth Braces

Middle of October, I went to Klinik Pergigian Emmanuel at Klang and got four teeth extracted. This cost me RM390 and a deposit of RM500. For few weeks, I couldn't eat hard food, only managed to eat porridge and drink healthy oat's drink. Here comes the month of November and I'm really excited to get my teeth braces. This is the first appointment with Dr. Lew Chee Kong the specialist in orthodontic treatment and you can find him at TTDI too. So, on the first visit I need to pay another RM1500. 

Meet Dr. Lew and I was ready to get my separator. My appointment was at 4:30pm but still need to wait half an hour because too many patient have contract with Dr. Lew for teeth braces too. After half and hour, here goes my turn to meet Dr. Lew. He was serious compared to the first time I met him, probably he was too busy to talk and joke. Dr. Lew's skill was fast enough that not more than half an hour, I'm done with my teeth braces. It is to know that Dr. Lew do not use separator and band/ ring for teeth braces because is more pain and easily spoiled your teeth with foods stuck in the band/ ring.

The very next day, one of the brackets was loose on the upper right. I went back to the clinic to get it fixed by general doctor and not Dr. Lew unless, you lost your bracket. Then in the same week, one brackets was loose but this time is on the lower left. Rush to the clinic to get it fixed. the next week, the same lower left bracket was loose again and went to clinic to fixed it again. Gosh! How many times I need to return to the clinic? @_@

After another one week, the same lower left bracket gave me problem again! But this time, I ate curry puff and kuey teow and the most horrible thing is.....I.........swallowed the bracket while I was eating! YES! I SWALLOWED IT! Haha.. Quickly I went back to the clinic and told the nurse what had happened and she told me in 2days, make sure you do your business and see in your poo poo the barcket comes out together or else you need to go for an x-ray. An x-ray?! OMG! 

So, I went back and bought some bananas to eat. First day, I did my business and I don't see any shinning thing on the toilet bowl. At the same night, I did my business again and after I flushed, I didn't really check on it. When it was bedtime, I went to the toilet and saw something shinning on the surface of the toilet bowl. YES! It was the bracket that I've swallowed. Thanks GOD, it came out. 

After two days, I went for appointment with Dr. Lew and told him the whole story and he was laughing at me for my silliness for picking up the brackets and I did say I want to put the bracket back again. Hahahaha.. LOL...He then gave me a new wired braces and brackets without any charges. I've choose light purple this time for lower braces.

I was very happy because finally I can have teeth braces. I've always wanted to do this since Form Four. Why I wanted teeth braces so much? Because I've overbite's teeth aka rabbit's teeth. This teeth braces gonna stay with me for around two and a half years, that's way too long man!

My second appointment will be on Christmas's eve. :( Booking were all fully booked. The next appointment maybe I'll go for red color or pink color for CNY's theme. :)

My Happiest Moment

I've always wanted to have my own camera to capture the best happening moment in my life and to share it out to the world! Today, I've given this opportunity by Nuffnang Malaysia and Olympus to share out my happiest moment with everyone of you. Camera really is an amazing thing in the world! I believe that, a picture speaks more than a thousand words.

My happiest moment wasn't about birthday celebration or wedding celebration. It was about me when I was just a little girl who get excited everytime my dad snap photo of me and my brother. In the year of 90's, camera was not like now so high technology. We need to bring the camera's films to the camera's shop to get our captured photo done. This was the most exciting part because we need to be patient for few hours or few days to have the photos. In those years, photos that have been captured can't be delete or edit.

And this is my happiest moment photo with my brother. I was smilling with a big smile because I was on top of the bed and I was taller than him, that makes me so proud and happy. As a child, I always wanted to be taller than my brother but growing up takes time.*Silly me* We used to talk a lot before our bed time. This photo was captured by my dad before our bed time. The double decker bed in this photo was our sweetest dream's place thru 16years.





We went to the same school as he is elder than me 3 years. My parents were always busy with their works. I and my brother stayed at home alone and he used to cook foods for me and make sure I'm safe to school. I hate to go to school when I was a kid. I used to cried every time I've to go to school and refused to go until the bus driver need to calm me down.

Now, we both have grown up and have our own life that makes this photos more valueable. All our childhood memories and stories can be shown in this photos. The best thing of all is, I still keeping this photos as my precious things in my life because time could not be turn back.

Klinik Pergigian Emmanuel Bad Service!!

Last 3 days I went to Pusat Pakar Pergigian Emmanuel,Klang regarding about teeth braces. I booked this appointment 1 months earlier with Dr.Lew. So, I met Dr.Lew the orthodontist and he say I need to go for X-ray first before they start the procedure. Then, I did X-ray with Dr.Teng, he was much more better than Dr.Lew who does not serious when attending a patient. Dr.Teng extracted my 4 teeth, which is 2 upper teeth and 2 lower teeth. The process was fast,it took around 20 minutes to extract 4 teeth. After the extraction done, I was told by Dr.Teng that if I doesn't want to extract my third molar tooth then I don't need to make the next appointment at the counter. So. I paid the amount of RM500 as deposit and RM390 for the X-ray, 4 teeth extraction and medicine. The indian lady aka receptionist (at the front desk) didn't give me any receipt. Fine! What about my X-ray picture? I cannot have it back??

So,today after 3 days, I've make up my mind that I do not want to extract my third molar teeth first. I'll have braces fix first and after 2 to 3 years only I'll extract the third molar teeth. Then, I call up the clinic and wanted to book an appointment with Dr.Lew. First, a malay lady answer and asked me to hold on while she check the schedule. Suddenly, a indian lady voice with rude and manners asked who I want to book the appointment with and I said Dr.Lew on 2nd of November,2011. She told me, the schedule on November is all full! again FULL for WHOLE NOVEMBER! FINE! Then she say, only left December 21st and 24th and sound at me,and she asked why I didn't make any appointment on the spot on the day I went to extract my teeth. Like HELLO!, that time I thought I wanna go for another extraction for my third molar tooth, so I decided not to book an appointment first till I've make-up my mind. And now is only 3 days passed and the indian lady told me is all fully booked. I told her, I already paid for deposit what and I already extracted 4 teeth. So, this indian lady is expecting ME with no teeth for 2 months! This is not funny! I thought every clinic will give a special priority to those teeth braces patient. It can't be there so many patient did teeth braces with the only Dr.Lew there for the whole November to December. Your clinic already have the record that I already did the teeth extraction, SO, YOU should know there will be a patient will be making the next appointment anytime with your clinic orthodontist doctor! And YOU the indian lady customer service is very bad! On that day I did my teeth extraction, I saw she was scolded by a customer too. So, any of you working at that clinic who see this, please tell your boss to FIRED HER!

I'm thinking to get my deposit back and changing to other orthodontist clinic that serve their customer BETTER! Ya, so now I've no 4 teeth and don't know have to wait till when till I get my braces on. Should I change to other clinic and get my deposit back?

Real Steel movie is awesome man!! This movie is all about boxing but not human boxing,is robot boxing. Cool right? Thumbs up for this movie. Is a future movie,year 2020 where robot boxing was a top sport.

While searching for some spare parts for robot, Max accidently falls over a ledge and was saved from doom after being snagged by a lodged and buried robot arm. He then took the robot back and named it as Atom. Atom is an obsolete Generation-2 sparring bot built in 2014.Charlie and Max took Atom to fight in many match and won the World Robot Boxing (WRB).




The director of this movie is Shawn Levy. Go watch whoever haven't watch this movie! You won't regret watching it. Enjoy your movies! :)

Mooncake's Festival

Mooncake's festival actually ended like few weeks a go already. Nothing special, didn't play with lanterns as everyone in my family was busy with their own activities plus my sister already all grown up and I'm sure she doesn't want to play lantern anymore. I was really busy on that day, my busy stuff was following my boyfriend on some journey.

Ok, let's see what mooncakes I've got. This mooncake is specially made by my 5th aunt staying at Malacca. My 3rd aunt and 5th aunt are a good cook and we never miss a chance to eat their delicious food everytime we go back to Malacca. So, this year my mum went back to visit my grandmother at Malacca. My mum always come back home with her hand full of things and this time she brought 3boxes of mooncake specially made by 5th aunt to us. Let's see how the mooncakes look like.

This is freshly made from original fresh fruit and yogurt. It's sugarless but it taste sweet because it is made from fresh fruit. I love the colour of the mooncakes. Thanks to my 5th aunt for this mooncakes.

1Day Trip To Genting Highlands

Boyfriend and me went to Genting Highlands for a walk on top the hill. :) We parked our car at First World Hotel. Many children and tourist were there that day because it was 3days holidays(Friday-public holiday, Saturday and Sunday). We did nothing much there,just for a window shopping. We were hungry so we ate fried rice at the restaurant next to the food court.







I asked boyfriend to take a picture with this doll because the doll's head is as big as his head. Haha.






Later on, I spotted a bigger doll's head. So, took another photo of him with the doll. Haha.

In the evening, we went back home. Halfway down the hill,we stopped by Chin Swee Temple for some photos and prayers. It was raining when we reach the temple. Road was slippery and dangerous,car's window were very blurred because of the weather and temperature. Enjoy the freezing and cooling air without an aircond. Picture's time!
